MAMI (Multicultural Association of Medical Interpreters) provides trained interpreters for speakers of limited English in medical, legal, mental health and domestic violence/sexual abuse situations. MAMI provides accredited written translations of health and legal documents. Since its creation in 1998, MAMI has grown into Upstate New York's largest medical and legal interpreting organization, with offices in Utica and Syracuse.

MAMI operates the foremost interpreter training center in Upstate New York. Our accurate on-site, face-to-face interpreters look after what is best for our clients and have an arrival time of 30 minutes or less. Our telephone interpreting enables people speaking different languages to communicate through a three-way phone conversation.
